Unfinished Sympathy
A necklace as a gift. Composed of Blue Topaz, Smokey Quartz, one Tibetan Agate Dzi Bead and 14kt White Gold chain. The Tibetan Dzi Bead is an authentic "7 eyed Dzi Bead" estimated at 200-300 years in age. The Blue Topaz is of various karats. The 'monument' gem itself is 36 karat. The clasp is unique: to connect the necklace the 'lips' of the two rings need to be aligned perpendicular to each other and 'kissed'. Delivery of the necklace came in the form of a custom-outfitted bamboo box sent via post.
There was no guarantee at the time that I would ever see the necklace again (and I still haven't seen it since sending it to the person it was designed and created for) - therefore I took the opportunity to have the necklace modeled and extensively documented.
